Upcoming Invitationals

Basketball Drill is being perfected for our upcoming invitational! I hope everyone is as excited as I am! After winning our last competition, we have that to live up to! I really believe that we can do it again! The girls are working hard and I know that they want another 1st place trophy, so if they keep attending practices and staying encouraged, then it will happen!

I say "if they keep attending practices" because before winter break we seemed to have some issues with girls not showing up, not bringing notes and me knowing that they were at school (I get a daily report showing attendance). This not only caused concern for me, but also other drillers. It is very discouraging to the girls when their teammates aren't showing up to practice. Please encourage your daughters that drill team, along with school, is a priority and that it is something they chose to do. So far after the break attendance has been good, and I hope that it stays this way. If I become concerned about a particular driller, I will email parents individually.

With that said, let's cheer on our girls and get excited about the upcoming invitational! Here's what January looks like:

Jan. 9 - 12pm-5pm Mandatory Lock In

Jan. 16 - Edmonds-Woodway Invitational

Jan. 23 - 2pm-5pm Mandatory Lock In

Jan. 30 - Kentridge Invitational
