Seahawks Game?!

As many of you may have already heard, our girls are going to be performing at a Seahawks game! That's right, they will perform this Sunday, October 11th! I am very excited for them! This is a great opportunity, and knowing what it is like to be out on that field in front of 67,000 people, it is an incredible experience!
Here are some details:
  • We will be meeting at 7:45 am in the Newport Parking Lot (lower lot by the field) and will leave by 8:00 am sharp. Because there is not enough ASB money for a bus, we will need parent drivers (I have the forms that need to be filled out). If you are willing to drive some girls to Qwest Field at 8:00 am and pick up at around 2:45 pm, please email me at: lebe524@yahoo.com Thank you in advance if you are willing to do this!!
  • At 8:30 am, we will be on the field (at Qwest Field-home of the Seahawks!!) running through/practicing the performance with the other 5 schools that will be performing AND the Seagals
  • After practice, the girls will be fed and then we will go enjoy the pre-game festivities in the exhibition hall.
  • During half time (approx. 2:30 pm) the girls will perform
  • After performing we will head back to Newport High School
Extra facts:
  • The girls will wear their uniforms
  • This is not "mandatory" but it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and would love to have all the girls there!
  • The girls will be performing part of Homecoming drill (about 1 minute of it) and also a group dance that all the schools and the Seagals will all do together
  • As I mentioned, the girls will be fed, so no money/sack lunch is needed
  • This performance will not be on TV, but will be on the big screens at the game
  • I will take photos, and Seahawks photographers may be snapping shots as will-if so, they will be posted on the Seahawks website and I will let you know if and when they do!
I am very much looking forward to this and I think all the girls are excited, too! It is very special to have been invited to perform at the game and a big thanks goes out to Sherri Thompson-the Seagals Director.
Hooray Newport Drill!
