Well, summer is slowly coming to an end and I can comfortably say that the girls are doing great! The drill is looking very good and I cannot wait to see them perform for the first time! As for now, it looks like it might be at the Rally Night (September 3-Thursday) but that event is still TBD. If that falls through, then the girls will perform the traditional "Fight Song" at the first home football game, and then the drill they have been perfecting all summer at the first assembly September 11. I know they will do great each time they perform-whether it be the "Fight Song" or the actual drill. I am a proud coach! A few parents/drillers have been asking me about practice times once school starts. I will be making the announcement at the parent "meet and greet" on Monday, August 24 (5:30pm if you hadn't heard about it). If you cannot make it, I will post the times here in my next blog. However, I hope all parents can make it as I look forward to meeting everyone!
